Our Story
All Madam Rain products are formulated with problem solving in mind. For example, we wanted a fragrant, light as air facial lotion with no oily residue that could be layered depending on the moisture needs of facial skin on any given day, and it had to be a lotion that would not clog pores or bother very sensitive skin. That's a tall order. Madam Rain Facial Lotion is the solution.
After trying countless drugstore brands, and even a few of the expensive boutique store brands, we found many face lotions to be too heavy, or greasy, or there would be some irritant to the skin. In addition, the list of ingredients on the packages seem to be endless, with names that are difficult for a trained chemist to read off. It turns out that many of those chemicals are unnecessary and only included to enhance the antiaging hype that manufacturers want you to believe. With that in mind, the Madam Rain philosophy on cosmetic skin care formulations is to keep it simple, and add only well researched safe ingredients that enhance skin care. Each ingredient added to our formulations serves a purpose to care for skin and hair, and we do not use fillers.
Madam Rain does not and will never test our products on animals, nor do we purchase from suppliers who test on animals.

Madam Rain products address issues that many of us face. Vitamin supplemented hair products include formulations developed to increase softness, moisture and shine to hair. Our glycerin and complexion soaps are fortified with vitamins E, C, and B complex. Madam Rain's cold process soaps are super-fatted to help moisturize the skin.
